Venezuelan right accused of coup attempt

CARACAS, Apr. 26 (MNA) – The Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, accused the opposition Democratic Unity Roundtable (MUD) of attempting a coup against President Nicolas Maduro in a cowardly and continuous manner.

There is no sanity within the MUD, there is no room for reflection, no principles, no convictions, he said in a speech during a people's rally in Falcon state.
"The right does not recognize the Constitution nor have the least respect for the will and the rights of the people. Keep that in mind. Let no one be carried away by emotions and their scams," he said.
The leader of the PSUV believes the people must continue mobilizing to respond to acts of violence organized and perpetrated by extremist sectors of the South American nation.
The people have endured the infamies of an opposition that does not know about politics and must continue standing, because any agenda of violence or terror can be impose to thousands of Venezuelan patriots, he said.
MUD leaders, he said, do not even have the courage to acknowledge that they are attempting a coup, that they are the same ones that in 2002 tried to overthrow  Commander Hugo Chavez (1954-2013).
